Essential Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation License for a Registered Nurse
• Valid School Nurse PEL (Professional Educator License)
• Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor that campus-level processes for medication administration are consistently followed
• Conduct regular file reviews to confirm all student medication orders from physicians are current and complete
• Perform audits of medication storage and administration to guarantee the appropriate quantity and condition of all medications on site
• Review and verify the accuracy of seizure, allergy, and asthma action plans, ensuring compliance and that all students have access to non-expired medication
• Collaborate with campus teams to support a culture of health and safety
