Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to provide accurate medical documentation
- Adept in team collaboration and supporting peers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the clinical lead, providing guidance and resources to RNs stationed in each building
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Complete medical reviews promptly and thoroughly to support student needs
- Handle initial and reevaluation assessments as required—no set caseload allows for focus on quality of care
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for staff and students alike
