School Registered Nurse (RN) in Des Plaines, IL

What You'll Need:

• Active RN, LPN, or LVN license in Illinois
• Experience supporting students in educational settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and pediatric care skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively 1:1 with young children, demonstrating patience and empathy

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a Pre-K student throughout the school day
• Monitor student’s medical condition, administer prescribed medications, and respond promptly to health needs
• Collaborate closely with educators, caregivers, and additional school staff to ensure seamless support
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Advocate for the student’s well-being while promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
