Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care, chronic disease management, medication administration, and emergency response to students
• Guide school staff on health protocols and legal responsibilities
• Maintain and review health records to align with regulatory compliance requirements
• Participate in meetings involving individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Serve as a resource for health and wellness education, policy interpretation, and legal developments
• Investigate and report on potential liability or safety issues, ensuring documentation is thorough and timely
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student well-being and legal protection for the school
