School Registered Nurse | Dexter, Michigan

Take your nursing skills into a dynamic school setting, making a meaningful difference for students and staff. We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to support student health needs for the remainder of the school year on a contract basis. With a start date as soon as possible, you’ll work 25-30 hours per week, collaborating closely with the district RN to deliver excellent care and support.

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care for student emergencies and daily needs
• Develop, distribute, and update individualized student health plans
• Train staff members on implementing student health plans, including chronic condition management
• Lead in-service training for staff in CPR, First Aid, seizure response, and other health-related topics
• Liaise with parents, healthcare providers, and administration to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with regulations
