School Registered Nurse (RN) in Dublin, OH

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active RN or LPN/LVN license
• Prior pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred
• Competency in NG tube feeding, medication administration, and suctioning
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and medical teams
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
• CPR certification and required immunizations up to date

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care to an elementary student, monitoring health and responding to needs
• Manage NG tube feedings and medication as prescribed
• Perform suctioning and other required medical interventions with precision and compassion
• Accompany the student on the school bus to and from school, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit
• Maintain detailed documentation on all medical actions, observations, and interventions
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the student’s well-being and participation in school activities
• Effectively communicate with guardians, school personnel, and healthcare professionals regarding the student’s health
