What we’re looking for:
- Current unrestricted RN license
- Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric care preferred
- CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- A compassionate, student-focused approach
- Ability to manage daily health office operations and respond effectively in emergencies
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Assess and address student health concerns throughout the school day
- Administer medications and basic first aid as needed
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student wellness plans
- Educate students and staff regarding health conditions, hygiene, and wellness practices
- Ensure compliance with required immunizations, health screenings, and public health guidelines
