Certified Health School Registered Nurse | Easley, South Carolina

Skills & Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Experience working within school environments or with adolescents is a plus
• G-tube care experience preferred
• Ventilator experience preferred
• Certification in school nursing or similar desirable
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated in-classroom nursing care for two high school students, one of whom uses a wheelchair
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for allergic or adverse reactions
• Deliver interventions such as G-tube feeding and vent management, as needed
• Maintain accurate health documentation per school regulations
• Communicate student health status and needs to teachers, parents, and support staff
• Educate school personnel about relevant medical procedures and emergency protocols
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment for students’ learning and physical well-being
