Certified Health School Registered Nurse | Easley, South Carolina

Make a meaningful difference this school year by stepping into a hands-on role as a school nurse supporting high school students. This contract opportunity runs from February 19th through May 21st, right in the heart of the Anderson, SC area.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, certified RN with a passion for helping high school students thrive in their learning environment. In this classroom-based setting, you’ll work closely with two students—one who uses a wheelchair and one who does not. Your expertise and compassion will have a direct impact every single day.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license required
• Nursing certification in South Carolina
• Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Comfortable working with high school age students
• Experience with g-tube care preferred
• Ventilator care experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Organized and flexible, with a caring and patient approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily health needs of two students within the classroom
• Provide medical care including medication administration and monitoring
• Deliver g-tube and/or ventilator care as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, classroom aides, and families to ensure student safety and well-being
• Maintain accurate health records and care documentation
• Educate staff on supporting students’ health requirements
