High School 1:1 School RN in Easley, SC

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential 1:1 care to a student who is paralyzed but cognitively high functioning and actively engaged in their education. Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN or LPN license required
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Ventilator care experience essential (for LPNs)
• Ability to work effectively with high school-aged students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to safe, compassionate, and reliable care
• Ability and willingness to ride the bus with the student to and from school

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive, individualized nursing care during the school day and bus commute
• Monitor student’s medical status, including ventilator management as needed
• Collaborate with educators, family members, and healthcare professionals to support the student’s daily needs
• Assist with personal care while promoting the student’s independence and dignity
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate with parents and staff as necessary
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment at all times
