School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - East Weymouth, Massachusetts

Providing vital healthcare support in an educational setting, this opportunity offers both part-time and full-time roles dedicated to assisting medically fragile students. Working individually with students requiring specialized care, professionals will play an essential role in ensuring their health and safety during the school day.

Location:

• East Weymouth, MA

Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one nursing care to medically fragile students throughout the school day (8:30 AM to 3:30 PM).
• Monitor and assess student health status, administer medications, and manage medical equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies or changes in student condition.

Qualifications:

• Current MA LPN or RN license.
• Experience working as a school nurse or in a school healthcare setting.
• Ability to provide compassionate, attentive care tailored to medically fragile children.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
