School Registered Nurse (RN) in Eden Prairie, MN

Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Minnesota, free of active disciplinary action
• Experience as a school nurse or in pediatric/nursing care within educational settings highly preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse student needs
• Familiarity with health screenings, medication administration, and chronic condition management in children and adolescents

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily nursing care, triage, and first aid for students and staff
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized health plans (IHPs) and emergency action plans (EAPs)
• Administer medications and perform doctor-ordered procedures in compliance with school policy
• Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) and coordinate immunization compliance
• Maintain and secure meticulous health records in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Serve as a key point of contact for families regarding student health and wellness
• Provide health education and promote a culture of health and safety within the school community
