School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota

This full-time, on-site opportunity is perfect for a Licensed School Nurse (LSN) or RN with a strong background in school health services, particularly in environments supporting around 600 students. You’ll play a vital role within a collaborative team, ensuring safety, wellness, and support to students, families, and staff.

Key Qualifications:

• LSN (Licensed School Nurse) credential or RN with experience in a school health room environment
• Proven ability to support student health in an education setting
• Familiarity with IHP development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring
• Experience collaborating with health aides and educational teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and conduct on-site hearing and vision screenings as needed
• Develop and monitor Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) in partnership with a Health Aide
• Manage and oversee medication set-up with meticulous attention to detail
• Complete health interviews, review records, and create narrative summaries for special education evaluations
• Provide staff training on IHPs, health needs, and general wellness practices
• Consult and communicate actively with staff and families about student wellness and support initiatives
