Registered Nurse School Setting in Edison, NJ

A full-time Registered Nurse is needed to provide one-on-one care for a male 7th-grade student in a K-12 school setting. This onsite position is based in Edison, NJ, and runs through June 22, 2026, with school hours from 8:45 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing individualized nursing care to a student with diverse medical needs
• Managing asthma care and monitoring respiratory status
• Administering G-tube feedings and catheter care
• Assisting with toileting and diapering
• Responding to seizure activity with appropriate intervention

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric patients
• Proven competency in asthma management and seizure care
• Skilled in performing G-tube feedings, catheterization, and related nursing duties
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and family members

This role requires a compassionate, patient-focused nurse who is comfortable working closely with children who have complex medical requirements. The position offers a consistent schedule with hours concentrated during the school day.
