School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Edison, New Jersey

A part-time School Nurse (RN) position is available at an educational facility located in Edison, NJ. This role is ideal for a dedicated registered nurse with prior elementary school nursing experience and familiarity with the Genesis charting system. The contract runs from ASAP through June 2026, with work scheduled every Wednesday from 8:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and health services to elementary school students
• Utilize the Genesis charting system for accurate and timely documentation
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and assess student health concerns and communicate with parents and staff as needed
• Participate in health education and promotion within the school environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior experience as a school nurse at the elementary level
• Proficiency with the Genesis charting system
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a school setting
