Registered Nurse School Setting - Edison, NJ

This full-time contract position runs from September 3rd, 2026, through June 23rd, 2026, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule totaling 32.5 hours per week. You’ll be the primary healthcare professional in the building, providing compassionate care and guidance—while backed by an accessible advisory support team whenever needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN or CSN license in New Jersey
• Confidence and initiative to manage the health office as the sole nurse onsite
• Previous school nurse experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with the Genesis charting system is highly desirable
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Ability to respond effectively to student health needs and emergencies

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive first aid, medication administration, and health assessments for students in the elementary health room
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Monitor and support students with chronic medical conditions, communicating proactively with families and staff
• Foster a nurturing, safe environment for children with diverse health needs
• Collaborate with school administration and participate in health education initiatives
