Registered Nurse School Setting in Edison, NJ

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar healthcare setting strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of medication administration protocols
• Excellent organization, communication, and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in high-stress situations
• Reliable, compassionate, and committed to student care
• Current CPR certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide and document medication(s) to students as prescribed
• Conduct thorough post-restraint evaluations ensuring each student’s physical and emotional health
• Maintain accurate health records while protecting student confidentiality
• Act as a medical resource on campus, collaborating with educators and staff
• Monitor and respond to student health concerns throughout the school day

This is a part-time, onsite position, scheduled at 27.5 hours per week. Hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 1:30pm, providing the perfect balance between your professional career and personal time.
