Step into an impactful nursing role supporting a 7th-grade student in a dynamic school environment. This full-time, onsite opportunity runs from now through June 22, 2026, with a commitment to continue during the 2026-2027 school year. School hours are 8:45am to 2:00pm, offering a consistent daytime schedule totaling 30-32 hours per week.
You'll make a real difference as the primary support for a student with complex medical needs. Responsibilities include direct, 1:1 care both in the classroom and during transportation, as bus riding is an integral part of the position. Experience with asthma management, G-tube feedings, catheters, seizure protocols, and toileting/diapering assistance is essential. Your expertise will ensure the student receives attentive and compassionate care throughout the school day.
Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license required
- Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
- Demonstrated skills in pediatric care, especially asthma, seizure management, and G-tube/catheter maintenance
- Comfortable assisting with personal care, including toileting and diapering
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Passion for making a positive impact in educational settings
Responsibilities:
