School Registered Nurse (RN) in Edison, NJ

This assignment covers October 1, 2026, through October 10, 2026, with the schedule tentatively set for weekdays, approximately 8:00am to 3:30pm.

Your primary responsibility will be working 1:1 with a student who requires specialized medical attention, including G-tube management and support throughout the school day. Your compassionate expertise will also be essential during the student’s daily bus transportation to and from school. All services are delivered on-site—remote or virtual care is not part of this assignment. This focused role allows you to develop a close connection with the student and their school community, making a direct impact in their daily well-being and academic experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the State of New Jersey
• Prior school nursing experience preferred
• Proficient in G-tube management and care
• Ability to reliably follow a school-day schedule, including bus riding
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for daily interaction with students, school staff, and families
• Commitment to in-person care (no virtual/VOCO responsibilities)

Responsibilities:

• Delivering individualized, attentive care for a medically fragile student
• Managing G-tube feeding and monitoring for health needs throughout the day
• Ensuring safe supervision during bus travel, both morning and afternoon
• Collaborating with school personnel to coordinate and document care
