Registered Nurse School Setting in Edison, NJ

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, valid School Nursing NJ licensure required (RN candidates only; LPNs are not eligible)
• Demonstrated school-based nursing experience is essential
• Strong familiarity with immunizations and state requirements
• Ability to confidently oversee caseloads and entire school buildings
• Comfort with district policies and culture is expected
• Reliable transportation and proximity to the district for daily commute

• Must be able to complete district onboarding requirements: TB test, physical exam, and fingerprinting (agency and district)
• Prepared for a streamlined 15-minute interview process

• Deliver comprehensive nursing services to students across multiple school buildings
• Assess, monitor, and address student health needs, including immunization compliance
• Manage day-to-day care, health records, and medical emergencies for assigned caseloads

• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold confidentiality in all interactions
