Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, eligible for practice in the state.
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with children/adolescents preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, diverse environment.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care for students and staff, including assessment and management of acute and chronic health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Administer medications and coordinate care with primary care providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date health records in compliance with state laws and regulations.
• Educate students, families, and faculty on health topics, injury prevention, and wellness.
• Respond swiftly in emergency medical situations and provide first aid.
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and healthcare professionals.
