Registered Nurse School Setting - Elizabeth, NJ

Step into a meaningful opportunity as a school-based Registered Nurse, supporting student wellness in a vibrant educational environment. This part-time, onsite contract role is located near Elizabeth, NJ, with a weekday schedule that allows for work-life balance: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, totaling 27.5 hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Previous experience working as an RN in a school setting or pediatric environment preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate professionally with students, staff, and families
• Comfort and proficiency in administering medications and conducting clinical evaluations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medications to students per physician orders and school policy, ensuring documentation and care protocols are followed diligently
• Conduct post-restraint evaluations to monitor students’ well-being and ensure safety for all involved
• Act as a health resource for students, staff, and administrators, supporting a healthy and safe school environment
