A full-time contract position is available for a caring and skilled RN or LPN to provide dedicated 1:1 support for an elementary student near Minneapolis, MN. Enjoy weekday hours from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, offering a great work-life balance. When your assigned student is absent, you’ll contribute to general nursing needs within the school community.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active RN or LPN/LVN license in Minnesota
• Previous experience with pediatric nursing, especially in a school setting, is highly valued
• Proficiency with central lines and G-tube care is required
• Ability to adapt quickly and provide compassionate support to students
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized nursing care for an elementary-age student, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day
• Perform monitoring, medication administration, and specific procedures (including central line and G-tube care)
• Maintain close communication with families, educators, and school staff
• Support student participation in classroom activities, field trips, and transportation as needed
• Step into general school nursing duties, supporting the broader student body on days when your assigned student is absent
