Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license in California
• Experience working as a school nurse or in pediatric settings strongly preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Excellent assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Adaptability and professionalism within both solo and team-oriented tasks
• Ability to maintain compliance with record-keeping and state health protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, addressing injuries, acute illnesses, and chronic condition management
• Administer medications, perform health screenings, and conduct routine immunization clinics
• Collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to create individual health plans and promote a safe environment
• Monitor health trends and respond to communicable disease concerns effectively
• Participate in educational initiatives, first-aid training, and health education programs for students and faculty
• Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring confidentiality of student health records
