School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Evanston, Illinois

A full-time Certified School Nurse (CSN) is needed for the 2026-2027 school year in Evanston, IL. This contract position is ideal for a registered nurse with certification in school nursing, committed to supporting the health and well-being of students in an educational setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and emergency response
• Developing and implementing individualized health plans for students with chronic health conditions
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborating with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to promote a healthy school environment
• Maintaining accurate health records and ensuring compliance with state and local health regulations
• Conducting health screenings and participating in health education initiatives

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred
• Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
