Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN license in the state of Washington, in good standing
• Experience in pediatric, school, or community health nursing strongly preferred
• Knowledge of state and federal health regulations impacting schools
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate demeanor and commitment to advocating for student health
• CPR/BLS certification (or the ability to obtain prior to start date)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and emergency response as needed
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions while supporting individualized health plans
• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with medical protocols
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students
• Serve as a resource for health education and promote wellness throughout the school community
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and healthcare providers
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings as required and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
