Soliant is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support a K–12 school district in a full-time, onsite role. This position is ideal for a compassionate and skilled clinician who thrives in a school setting and is committed to promoting the health, safety, and well-being of students.

Position Overview

The School Nurse will work in the campus health clinic and provide general nursing services to students across all grade levels. You will serve as a key health resource for the school community handling daily clinic needs, responding to medical concerns, supporting students with chronic conditions, and collaborating with staff and families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care for students, including first aid, illness evaluation, and emergency response

  • Administer medications and perform physician-ordered treatments

  • Support and monitor students with chronic medical needs (asthma, diabetes, seizure disorders, allergies, etc.)

  • Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and compliance with state and district guidelines

  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health plans and concerns

  • Monitor immunization compliance and assist with required health screenings

  • Implement infection control procedures and promote overall student wellness

  • Serve as a healthcare resource for staff and contribute to a safe school environment

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia 

  • Prior school nursing or pediatric experience preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

  • Patient, professional, and student-centered approach
