Qualifications & Experience:

• Current RN license, valid in Nevada
• Prior experience as a school nurse or in a pediatric, community, or public health setting is highly valued
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational abilities
• Comfort working both independently and collaboratively with educators, students, and families
• Adaptability to the school schedule and environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed
• Manage medication administration, health records, and care plans for chronic conditions
• Collaborate with educators and administrators regarding students’ health needs and accommodations
• Conduct health screenings and monitor communicable disease prevention
• Educate students on healthy practices, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Respond swiftly and effectively to health emergencies on campus
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality in compliance with regulations
