Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in the state of Maine (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience in pediatric nursing, especially caring for young children
• Proven skills in trach care and related respiratory support
• Strong communication abilities to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Compassion, patience, and a student-centered approach

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver continuous 1:1 medical support to a kindergarten student during the school day
• Administer trach care, monitor respiratory needs, intervene in emergencies, and oversee daily health status
• Support student participation in classroom activities and transitions
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing interventions and student well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families on care planning and best practices
