School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Fenton, Missouri

Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to make a meaningful impact as a 1:1 support for an elementary student in a school environment near Fenton, MO. This contract position spans the entire school year, with a start date of August 24th. The director seeks an RN interested in working either full-time as a paraprofessional (RN Para) or part-time as a traditional RN—providing flexibility to fit your schedule and career goals.

You’ll be partnering with a medically fragile elementary student, offering dedicated care and presence for the first half of each school day. This vital role supports the student’s health and well-being while assisting their participation in classroom activities and learning.

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Missouri
• Prior pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to healthcare
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and clinical teams
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and act with professionalism at all times
• Willingness to perform paraprofessional duties as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a medically fragile student during school hours
• Monitor and respond to the student’s healthcare needs, including medication administration as required
• Document observations and interventions accurately
• Support the student in classroom participation and daily routines
