What We’re Looking For:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior experience as a school nurse or in a pediatric/child health setting preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies
• Knowledge of health education and ability to educate staff/students on wellness topics
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a broader educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid, illness care, and management of chronic health conditions for students and staff
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Implement individualized healthcare plans for students with medical needs
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality
• Conduct vision, hearing, and health screenings as required
• Serve as a resource for health education and promotor of healthy school practices
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and parents on student healthcare issues
• Respond to and manage emergency situations as needed
