School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) | Florence, Arizona

This full-time, contract position is available for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) interested in making a meaningful difference for an 8-year-old student. You'll be a valued part of the educational environment, ensuring the student's well-being throughout the school day, including bus transportation. The role is set to start as soon as possible or by May 28th, 2027.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active LPN/LVN license
• Previous experience working with children or in a school environment preferred
• Ability to confidently and compassionately address medical needs as outlined in the student's care report
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with families, staff, and healthcare teams
• Comfortable with bus riding and providing care both within the classroom and during transit
• Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the student's medical needs in accordance with the provided care report
• Administer medications and perform procedures as directed by healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to create a safe, inclusive setting
• Maintain accurate documentation of health services provided
• Accompany the student on bus rides to and from school, delivering care as required
• Serve as a compassionate resource for the student and their family regarding health matters
