School Registered Nurse (RN) in Flower Mound, TX

Assignment Highlights:

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–3:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
• Immediate start with assignment extending through May 27, 2027
• Located at a vibrant elementary school in the Flower Mound, TX area
• Focused 1:1 nursing support for students with tracheostomy care, feeding tubes, and American Sign Language (ASL) needs

Qualifications Sought:

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license (LPNs are not eligible)
• At least 5 years of experience with tracheostomy management and feeding tube care
• Demonstrated experience working with students or patients who require ASL communication
• Ability to work independently while upholding the highest standards of nursing care
• Strong communication and collaborative skills in a multidisciplinary educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 direct support to students with complex medical needs throughout the school day
• Monitor, assess, and document students’ health status and respond swiftly to changes or emergencies
• Collaborate with school staff, educators, and families to ensure seamless care and student safety
• Educate and empower students to participate in their own care as appropriate
