School Registered Nurse (RN) in Fountain, CO

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Previous experience in K–12 or school-based nursing highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to assess, manage, and respond to a variety of student health needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working autonomously and making informed decisions
• Ability to maintain detailed health records and ensure confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health care to students, including addressing minor injuries or illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and administering medications as prescribed
• Develop and implement care plans for students with specific health needs in collaboration with families and school personnel
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and coordinate with external healthcare providers as needed
• Educate students and staff on health practices, hygiene, immunizations, and wellness initiatives
• Maintain accurate health documentation and comply with school health policies
