What You Bring:
- Active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts
- Proven experience in school-based settings
- Proficiency in tracheostomy/ventilator care
- Ability to support ambulatory, energetic young children
- Willingness to travel with the student via van before and after school
- Completion of CORI and fingerprinting requirements
- Reliable presence onsite for all scheduled shifts
- CNA and medical assistant credentials are not suitable for this role
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of the student with tracheostomy needs during van transport to and from pre-school
- Monitor the child's respiratory status and intervene according to clinical best practices
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and maintain a safe, engaging environment for the student
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical needs and emergencies onsite
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of care
