School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Framingham, Massachusetts

This essential contract role begins at approximately 5 hours per week, with the possibility of expanding into a fuller schedule as additional details are established.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• Prior experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations
• Confidence in supporting medically complex children
• Ability to remain calm and resourceful in transport or emergency situations
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with families and school staff
• Current CPR and First Aid certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accompany student during van rides to and from school, ensuring their medical needs are consistently met
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment required during transportation
• Communicate pertinent health information or concerns observed during transit to guardians and school personnel
• Respond appropriately to any health-related incidents while in transit
• Build a supportive and trusting rapport with the student, promoting comfort and safety each day
