In this position, you’ll be the sole Certified School Nurse in the district, fully supported by a dedicated network of Registered Nurses. You’ll have the autonomy to practice at the top of your scope while being part of a collaborative and knowledgeable team.

Qualifications:

• RN with current IL licensure
• Professional Educator’s License (Illinois) with Certified School Nurse Endorsement required
• Experience in school health services preferred
• Proficient with hearing and vision screenings
• Skilled in updating IEPs and Individual Health Plans

Responsibilities:

• Serving as the district’s primary Certified School Nurse for the 2026/2027 school year
• Performing mandated hearing and vision screenings
• Updating and managing IEPs and health plans for students
• Partnering with a team of RN colleagues for holistic student care
