Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact state eligibility)
• Current BLS certification
• Previous experience in pediatric, school, or community nursing preferred
• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in health emergencies
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and case management

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management
• Conduct health assessments and screenings for students as needed
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records in compliance with state regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student care plans
• Educate students and staff on wellness initiatives, preventative measures, and health protocols
• Identify and address potential health concerns, referring to external providers when necessary
• Respond to medical emergencies and implement individualized healthcare plans
