Registered Nurse School Setting in Fremont, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential student information with professionalism
• Proficiency in health assessment, emergency response, and care planning
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate care for student health concerns, injuries, or emergencies
• Administer medication and track required documentation per school policies
• Develop individual healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions
• Collaborate with staff, families, and external healthcare providers as needed
• Promote wellness and preventive healthcare within the school environment
• Maintain accurate and timely health records
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute medical insights
• Support initiatives for a safe, inclusive, and healthy school culture
