Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential student information with professionalism
- Proficiency in health assessment, emergency response, and care planning
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate care for student health concerns, injuries, or emergencies
- Administer medication and track required documentation per school policies
- Develop individual healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions
- Collaborate with staff, families, and external healthcare providers as needed
- Promote wellness and preventive healthcare within the school environment
- Maintain accurate and timely health records
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute medical insights
- Support initiatives for a safe, inclusive, and healthy school culture
