A school-based Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available to provide essential healthcare services and support within an elementary school setting in Fresno, CA. This contract position offers approximately 16 hours per week, primarily onsite, supporting student health and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health assessments for elementary school students.
• Support initial IEP meetings, particularly at the preschool level.
• Cover for an RN on leave, ensuring continuity of care during a couple of months.
• Collaborate with school personnel to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with families and staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid California School Nurse Services Credential is required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with school nursing experience.
• Ability to work two full days per week as preferred for this semester.
• Knowledge of school health policies and the ability to conduct health screenings and assessments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and paperwork.

Location: Elementary school within Fresno, CA.
