School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Glenrock, Wyoming

Make a positive impact in a supportive school environment as a contract Registered Nurse (RN) for school-based health services near Glenrock, WY. In this role, you’ll collaborate with educational staff and families to promote student health and wellness, manage medical plans, and respond to daily health needs, helping students thrive in and out of the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license (Wyoming or eligible for reciprocity)
• Previous experience with pediatric and/or school nursing preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to provide compassionate care to students with diverse backgrounds and needs
• Familiarity with chronic condition management (such as diabetes, asthma, allergies) a plus
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid, medication, and routine medical care to students and staff
• Assess and respond to health concerns, including emergencies, with professionalism and sensitivity
• Develop and manage Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Educate students, families, and staff on health and wellness topics
• Participate in health screenings and immunization programs
• Support compliance with state and federal school health regulations
