Registered Nurse School Setting - Granbury, TX

This contract position focuses on providing skilled care for a highly medical, 3-year-old student in a school setting near Granbury, TX. Ideal for experienced RNs looking for a flexible, part-time role, this unique assignment allows you to make a direct impact in a child’s educational journey.

Schedule:

• Thursdays and Fridays only
• 7:45 AM to 10:45 AM each day
• On Fridays, you’ll accompany the student home on the bus, then return to the school with transportation provided

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care tailored to a medically complex young student throughout the school morning
• Monitor and respond to the child’s medical needs and emergencies
• Collaborate closely with school staff and the student’s family to ensure continuous, safe care
• Support the student’s participation in school activities as medically appropriate
• Ride the bus home with the student on Fridays, ensuring a seamless transition from school to home, and safely return to the school afterward

Desired Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Texas
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing, especially with highly medical or medically complex children
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic environment
