Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Michigan
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Strong understanding of catheterization procedures and best practices
• Compassionate communication skills and ability to collaborate with school personnel
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities:

• Delegate and perform catheterization procedure for a high school student at 12:45pm daily
• Provide monitoring and respond to any health needs between 9am-1:10pm, five days per week
• Communicate effectively with instructional aid and other school staff to ensure coordinated student support
• Adhere to school policies and maintain confidentiality of student health records
• Foster a safe, caring environment that encourages the student’s participation in school activities
