Key Responsibilities

Independent Health Room Management: Following an initial paid orientation period, you will be the primary healthcare professional responsible for running a school health room, providing comprehensive care, and managing emergent situations.

Diverse Student Population Care: Provide nursing services to students across all grade levels, from Pre-K through 12th grade.

Emergency & Acute Care: Respond to accidents, illnesses, and provide triage in a school setting.

Documentation & Coordination: Maintain meticulous health records and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and medical providers.

Flexibility & Adaptability: Serve as a float nurse, filling in for absences and supporting various school sites as needed.

Requirements

Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) License .

Demonstrated experience in nursing. Experience in pediatrics, community health, or emergency care is a plus.
Scheduling Details (Must Be Flexible)
This float position requires a high degree of scheduling flexibility.

Shift Variations: Daily start and end times will vary depending on the school site's operational needs (e.g., shifts may range from a mid-morning start to an earlier afternoon end time, or vice versa).

Weekly Notice: Schedules are typically determined on the Sunday preceding the work week.
