Registered Nurse School Setting - Greenacres, WA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN license in Washington state (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or community nursing environment preferred
• Thorough understanding of care management for acute and chronic conditions in children and adolescents
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to respond effectively in urgent situations and maintain confidentiality
• CPR/BLS certification (current and valid)
• Experience developing Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, emergency response, and first aid for students and staff
• Conduct health screenings, monitor immunization status, and coordinate referrals to healthcare providers
• Support students with chronic health conditions, creating care plans and participating in IEP/504 meetings as needed
• Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation
• Collaborate closely with families, educators, and public health officials to promote a healthy learning environment
