High School Certified School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Greenville, South Carolina

This opportunity runs from February 19th to May 21st, providing vital care to two students in a classroom environment. One student requires wheelchair assistance, while the other does not. The position is situated in the Anderson, SC area.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license is required
• Certification in school or pediatric nursing is a plus
• Prior experience within a school or academic setting preferred
• G-tube care experience is highly desired
• Experience with ventilator support is beneficial
• Ability to communicate clearly and exhibit compassion in a high school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily nursing care to two assigned students, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and supporting individual health needs
• Assist a student in a wheelchair with mobility and position changes as needed
• Manage and monitor g-tube feeds and medications, if required
• Provide care or intervention with ventilator support, should the need arise
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other staff to create a supportive, safe classroom
• Maintain thorough documentation of care provided and communicate with parents and healthcare providers regarding students’ health plans
