Registered Nurse School Setting - Greenwood, IN

As an RN working on a contract basis, you'll play a vital role in supporting students' health needs, collaborating with staff and families, and ensuring a safe learning environment for all.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Indiana (or eligibility for licensure)
• Recent experience providing nursing care, ideally within a school or pediatric setting
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to respond quickly to health emergencies and administer first aid
• Comfortable educating students and staff about health concerns, medications, and wellness topics
• Experience with Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and medication administration is highly valued

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver nursing care and daily health services to students and staff
• Manage chronic conditions, medications, and medical procedures as needed
• Address health concerns, illnesses, and injuries that arise during the school day
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health
• Monitor health records, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations
• Serve as a resource on health and wellness for the school community
