School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Harlem, Georgia

Step into a pivotal role supporting student health in a dynamic K-12 setting! A contract-based opportunity awaits for a Registered Nurse to deliver essential on-site care for students with complex medical needs throughout the academic day. You’ll serve a close-knit caseload, making a meaningful difference for students requiring G-tube feedings, trach care, medication administration, and ongoing clinical support.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Georgia RN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in pediatric or school-based nursing highly desirable
• Background caring for students with critical, complex, or medically fragile needs
• Skilled in G-tube feedings, trach care, and suctioning (preferred)
• Familiarity with seizure/epilepsy management (a strong plus)
• Able to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:10 AM – 4:10 PM, on-site only

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on medical care to a caseload of 5-10 students with varied and acute health needs
• Administer medication, maintain accurate health records, and manage emergency situations with poise
• Deliver specialized procedures such as G-tube feedings, trach suctioning, and seizure management
• Collaborate with educators, families, and outside healthcare providers to develop and support individualized health plans
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with all stakeholders to promote student safety and wellbeing
