A Substitute Onsite Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in the educational setting in Hastings, MN. This contract role provides essential nursing support within a school environment, working directly with young students requiring personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to preschool students, addressing their medical needs throughout the school day
• Respond to on-call or PRN assignments supporting the school during staff absences, call-outs, or no-shows
• Administer medications, perform health assessments, and manage medical emergencies as needed
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated student care
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with school and state nursing regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience working in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying student needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to cover on-call shifts and provide timely response to school needs

Location: This role is based in Hastings, Minnesota, with assignments in nearby school settings, including Red Wing.
