School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Haverhill, Massachusetts

Step into a dynamic, school-based nursing role where you’ll play a vital part in supporting K-12 students’ well-being throughout the academic year. This contract opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, through June 18, 2027, offering a consistent, full-time schedule—Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, for a total of 40 hours per week. As a floater nurse, you’ll provide essential coverage at multiple campuses, all within close proximity—the farthest being just 6 miles from each other. Candidates must be comfortable traveling between these locations as needed.

Ideal candidates for this onsite assignment bring strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and a passion for fostering healthy learning environments. Both RN and LPN professionals are encouraged to apply, provided they hold a valid Massachusetts license and have prior school-based experience.

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts (required)
• Demonstrated school nursing experience (K-12 age range preferred)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to various nearby campuses daily
• Ability to work the full assigned schedule (no alternate arrangements)
• Successful completion of CORI background check and fingerprinting
• Excellent communication and flexibility
• Ready to interview via Zoom

Responsibilities:

• Deliver care for minor injuries and acute illnesses for students and staff
• Administer medications and oversee chronic health conditions
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with educators, families, and health providers to ensure optimal student health
• Provide health education and resource referrals as needed
• Travel between assigned school sites to fill in based on daily needs
