Desired Qualifications:
- Current, valid RN or LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience as an RN or LPN/LVN in a school setting preferred
- CPR certification required
- Sound assessment, triage, and documentation skills
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to health emergencies
- Proficient communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, and families
- Familiarity with common pediatric health concerns, including chronic conditions and medication administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive health services to students, including first aid, chronic illness management, and emergency care
- Maintain accurate health records and follow privacy protocols
- Administer prescribed medications and medical treatments as directed
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrators to support students’ health needs
- Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and safety practices
- Serve as a resource for parents and guardians regarding student health issues
