Desired Qualifications:

  • Current, valid RN or LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience as an RN or LPN/LVN in a school setting preferred
  • CPR certification required

  • Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to health emergencies
  • Proficient communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, and families
  • Familiarity with common pediatric health concerns, including chronic conditions and medication administration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive health services to students, including first aid, chronic illness management, and emergency care
  • Maintain accurate health records and follow privacy protocols
  • Administer prescribed medications and medical treatments as directed
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrators to support students’ health needs
  • Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and safety practices
  • Serve as a resource for parents and guardians regarding student health issues
